I'll add my +1 for the shogun as well.
I ran one for a while - 0-60 in about 30s, but that was uphill, downhill, with a full-loaded box trailer, through wall - made no difference.
Very comfortable on the road - I found the steering a bit heavy to be doing 400 mile m/way trips, but still arrived reasonably refreshed.
And there's nothing better off road (IMO), except dedicated off-roaders (like a landy defender).
The mpg is painful - I was getting about 25 miles/gallon on the m/way - half that in town, halfed again with the trailer.
But - LPG conversion will pay for itself VERY quickly. MPG drops by about 10%, but fuel is about half the price - and you won't notice the alleged drop in power cos they're so torquey anyway.
diesel vs petrol? Buy petrol. Same economy, but +50% power.
Back two seats come out really easily (leaving five) - the rear bench seat folds flat giving a BIG area - big enough for a double mattress, just, and enough room to sit up.
Dunno about you, but I think I just convinced myself
