Does it have to be new timber? Do you have an architectural reclamation company near you?

I wanted to build an engine trolley to factory specs, I had to pay for the next size up and the mill cut it down to 4x2

I think I'm gonna go to the timber reclamation place near me on Saturday and see what they have, if not then I'll have to cut down something bigger.

if you cant get it in sawn wood you will have to buy the 5x2 but it wont be 5x2 as its planned yet again

width will be 47mm though
