Thanks, I've used a couple of types of epoxy too that aren't UV stable. I suppose it wouldn't matter for suspension parts, but I'm wanting to paint some bicycle parts that will see full sun.The make I have used before is rustbusters epoxy mastic 121 on chassis parts. In the data it states its not uv stable and does require a top coat. Just so your aware if you brought this brand.
Nisocoat 2 all the way then. Its a hybrid 2k acrylic which borrows crosslinking chemistry from polyamide cured paints which are commonly used on bridges etc. I've left my test panel outside all year, all through the summer and there's no sign of UV degradation or chalking like you'd get with a normal amine epoxy. Thanks, I've used a couple of types of epoxy too that aren't UV stable.
