2hp bridgeport cable size

hi all

is the feed cable size i need 2.5mm for my 2hp bridgeport running 3 phase 400v or will 1.5 suffice .

It depends on the size of the supply, but generally I just use 2.5mm.

Go as big as you can all helps with the the volt drop when the contactor makes.

Ok if it's just supplying the motor then 1.5 will be ok but 2.5 won't hurt. I thort you ment the whole machine with suds pump, light, power feed etc etc.

Ah ok, I would be cautious as the phase converter may dislike an unbalanced load, I can't remember the exact setup in the bridgeport cabinet so can't comment further.

What sort of converter are you useing?

When you say don't work is it an electrical or mechanical fault? or they just don't work?

when i bought it the feeds did not work , however it only got delivered today and i noticed the motor is missing off one drive , so hopefully i can make the cross feed good . they are 6f drives

is there any special trickery to wiring the transwave static to the bridgeport , or is it the same as normal 3 phase .

The wireing should be just basic 3 phase, 3 lives and an earth.

If it goes backwards swap any two phases over.
