16amp sockets

Sometimes trip the one in the main unit and sometimes trips the one in the piggy backed unit.just tried the compressor and does the same.welder works fine on the 3 pin plug

what are the breakers are they a b type 16 amp and its the mcb,s that are tripping or the rcd my welder and 110 transformer will take out a b type mcb on start up needs changing to c type to stop the inrush current

i cant see there as not a full photo of the main board its not a split phase board and you wired the neutral in the wrong side ?

Breakers are all c type

It’s a sealey 170amp,but the same happens with compressor aswell,so must be my wiring

does the welder work in a low setting ?

what compresser is it have you got a pic of the plate on the compresser so we can see the power it will be taking

might be worth taking the covers off the fuse boxes and posting a pic so we can cheak the wiring

also post a pic of the plate off the welder as well

Yes, BUT:

which breaker? mcb or rcb/rcbo?

Is it tripping the MCB or RCD?

As far as I can see we still don't know - is it the RCD (the one with the reset button) or the MCB (the one that is rated at 16A, etc.) that is tripping in each unit?

One with yellow button is main c/u in garage then added the second one fed from the 32amp breaker in the first c/u.is this correct.

YES!

The RCD is sensing an imbalance as the neutral isn't connected!
Get a couple of zoomed out photos so we can see the neutral bars ( if you have any)
