Most loads in any vehicle designed in the past 20 years are electronically controlled.Load shedding? As in some fancy mosfet controlled fusebox?
Good reason not to own anything modern and definitely not french!
An electric car might seem a good option, but your range will drop in half. Wonder if many carry a petrol suitcase generator for emergency recharging?
I've not used one, but a silent petrol suitcase generator, would be a lot cheaper than the Bluetti?
Once voltage starts dropping, loads start getting turned off in order of priority, until your usually left with the engine ECU gasping for life and the instrument cluster illuminated like a christmas tree displaying endless warnings about what is no longer working.
Even on older vehicles, things like ABS will shut down at a set voltage, as it can't guarantee it'll operate predictably if needed below a certain point.
