even if the drill didn't work.
its worth having a 110v transformer in your toolbox.
as you just never know when you need one
aye but the toolbox will give you a bad back if you try and lift it around

It wouldn't, if you want to drop 110v from 220v to a 110v load you need a dropper that takes the same current as the load.

i atchaly have a blue 16a (220) to two blue 16a (220) but ran in seareis to give 110v lead which iv used a few times when i use to do lighting at gigs.
i used it to dimm 500w parcans on small gigs to save me taking dimmer packs also ment less cables

why ? its not much hassle to set up a dmx dimmer pack, not to mention if 1 bulb fails both are out

it was a quick fix to a faild dimmer pack at an out door party and due to the dimmer failling from condesation in the morning i used it again. Never had a lamp fail with it cos i was only driving them at half power and due to the fact these sort of gigs were never that well paid didnt want to risk loseing anothe dimmer to condensation
