The Bearing OD is 35mm, I couldn't find one with with a 17mm ID, unless I go for 37mm OD.
I don't really want to machine the hub unless I have to, as it will mean removing all the spokes and relacing.
Without measuring, there should be roughly 30mm between the bearing face and the edge of the forks, so a gradual taper shouldn't be a problem. Is there a formular for designing the taper?
I'm converting my Honda CRM250 to CR125 forks. The axle on the CR is 20mm and the bearings in the wheel of the CRM are 17mm. I was wonder about making a 2 piece axle which is 17mm in diameter with a M14 (M16 I think will be too tight) thread on the end which screws into a 20mm spacer with an...
No, they're re not all the same, although many do fit. Normally if there is differences it will be with the bus bar or different height so the cover won't fit back on. Most could be made to fit, but you would have to use your judgement if it's safe.
I would imagine if you asked the...
I want to convert my Tom Senior M1 to 3ph. The manual says the main motor is 1hp and the s-type head should be 1/2hp. I want to run these using a 1ph VFD. Is there any benefit in getting larger motors than the originals or will it just risk overloading the machine? I've been looking at bearing...
I have one fitted in my bathroom as a trial before replacing our rear windows.
They look OK from the outside, but lots of plastic on show on the inside. My windows fit behind the brick, so if you get the measurements right, a lot of the wide plastic is hidden from the outside.
I ordered mine...
Always nice to see a 205 kept on the road. I've had quite a few 205's over the years, gti, mi16 etc. I currently have a 205 van with a td engine at the moment. I have just finished building a 106 gti engine for it. Going to be a winter project.
I've been looking for a new mill for about 18 months to replace my old column mill. This came up, so thought I would give it a go. I'm not entirely sure what it is, its got a Christen badge on the side, but the column is stamped Aciera. I think it maybe a re-branded early Aciera F3? Its in...
Someone already beat me to that. Those Tyga ones linked above don't have that problem.
The rg125 gamma, which is what I have came fitted with a rotary valve. Not as efficient as the later 3 blade style, but 100% reliable. Well as reliable as a 2T can be.
