I put some in the Firenza this afternoon, as I've got an event on Friday (if the weather is reasonable) and don't want to find there's been a panic rush by Thursday. Morrisons was full of queueing vehicles (mostly with their engines running ...) but they seemed to all want diesel as I went straight to a pump that only had petrol. I had to get out and walk across to see, because looking through other car windows you can't see if there's a cone blocking the lane off, and I didn't want to lose my place.

It's a nice thought, the government cutting fuel duty to help out but I'm not sure how much help it would be (if it happened) when it looks like the main problem will be running out of (mostly) diesel. It would just help to divert it away from those that really need it.

Cheapest near me is Petrol as always at £1.51pl and Diesel £1/79pl I just got some diesel ( 15l ) for the Bongo while out getting some petrol for the Vette. and having a cruise
Now as i run WVO in the Bongo do i go to work in that OR the Vette >)

Have to say though, i just added a laod of WVO in the Bongo, not the Vette
and went for a spin, what a lovey smell fish n chips all way to work

Last time round they were puncturing tanks underneath to drain them, so not only lost your fuel, but need a replacement tank too.

Yep... I recall this - cars and vans getting recovered in - holes drilled in plastic tanks with battery drills.
