Indeed, and I very much doubt that the owner can be found/traced so all the other people and businesses will have to claim on theirs.

A mate of mine is a retired fireman - he said most fires start off small.

Presumably when it started to get hot around the stored vapes and batteries they started to gas which is flammable/explosive. That will have started flash overs setting light to everything even vaguely flammable, then the floors/ceilings and wall studs catch. After that it's stand back and watch while trying to prevent the spread.

Far too much wood and other flammables used in buildings. Nice bare brickwork or stonework and iron girders looks nice and wont burn.

And people should keep fire blankets and loads of fire extinguishers handy - AND learn to use them

With the number of vape shops on the high st hopefully councils will check the safety and fire insurance of them. Perhaps a risk assessment by the fire brigade?
