90' 3 way fuel pipe connector.

I received something I had been after for ages a small powered hacksaw.

It’s a Kennedy Hexacut 60 originally supplied without motor so no cast base, the motor is a bit weak but starts once helped , no on/off or cutout switch but apart from that it just needs a clean, not sure if I am going to get the current motor serviced or change it or even convert it to 24volt.

I will use it as is for now apart from adding a switch as picture until I decide.

Well, what can I say? Me and ONOFF are the best of mates. We tucked into the pastry and flapjack - both were delicious. We then finished off the bottle of Shallow Bay and had a good old chat. Unfortunately, I couldn’t manage to stay awake so dropped off to sleep. When I woke up and realised it was all of a dream and I don’t even know ONOFF I was gutted. I must get back to finishing my bruised apple now. I hope he enjoyed the flipping lot !

I made a small, mobile bench for my Atlas milling machine. It has steel casters but it can be clamped in place. I have since added more drawers and shelf liner to prevent tooling clanking around. Also I made it small/short so I can sit on a stool to operate it.

Last week I posted about the solar panel and lights I'd installed in a storage shed.

Well the other day I had cause to use them and inevitably left the light on.

Realised later and before the battery was flat but it's only a matter of time.

Today's addition a car courtesy light switch.
Now there is only power to the lights when the door is open.

you can get 12v PIR sensors, thats what i put in the garden shed, lights come on as soon as you open the door, works a charm!

Reduced the diameter of a cheap socket that almost fits to let me tighten a bolt in a bit of unistrut

Only the second handrail I’ve done this year,next door but one to another from 2024,word got around. Took the wheelwright rollers to site ,easier than templates.
