On our long haired cat we used a Furminator comb, as suggested by the vet. I still had to cut off some the bad clumps.

I used to use a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment on one of my cats, she seemed to really enjoy it and was the only one not to scarper when the vac started up.

When we take our dog over to our friends the first thing he does is check they haven't left their cats' food bowl on the floor.
Then he comes back to say hello!

Workshop yard cat & yet another dead VW van with the engine out of it.

Daylight hours reducing - yard cat's coat getting longer - and he is eating more every day.

Winter is coming and he knows it..

Wifey been down and wormed him a couple of times over last 30days - so he gets the benefit of all the extra food he is taking on board.

If I got time this Sunday morning - I will re roof one of his cat outside cat houses - I found half a bail of straw to re insulate it with. Found some matching in size brick weave blocks - will lift it up off floor a bit this year.

Lost our little companion today, she grew up with the kids. We’re devastated but it was the right thing to do for her. Never known one quite so chilled and affectionate, yet doubled in size and turned into a tiger if another cat set foot on her property.
