Ladders, telescopic combination type. Mostly will use as an A frame for hedges and small trees. There are identical branded ones of the same style but they only have 4 or 5 rungs, and I wanted the extra height of 8 which extends to 15 steps high, about 4 meters!
Half the price too, from a UK based importer of dubious quality and standards.
Genuine Mazda roof rack, last one on ebay for £120, normal dealer price would have been £200 but NLA.

I should be able to claim my 5th free battery to go with it.
Lastly I had a complaint to my bank - their CS person wouldnt accept my security answers and all I wanted to do was get a replacement for a damaged credit card to be sent out, then she hung up on me. I wasnt expecting any compensation but she gets retraining and they have sent me £75 compensation

I do however I feel I should try them before giving any kind of recommendation - they should be here tomorrow.. link at bottom... Theres some others I looked at...
I drove 30 miles on Monday to my nearest B&Q which had their own brand version - I've never seen or tried this style before so wanted to see if they were stable.
I did ask permission to try them which was given although understandably, the old guy in shop wasnt happy when fully extended, I went near the top!
Werner do they same, 4x5
BDS do a 6 step, so about 3m fully extended A frame.

Several other brands do a 6 step. They all look identical except with added stabilisers/feet. Close enough to say they are likely all made from the same extrusions in the same factory.
The ones I ordered were from Aimtools
But suprisingly £70 cheaper through their ebay shop
I might not use them fully extended but I like the idea of a bit more over lap between the telescopic sections!

If you could update us when you've tried them, it'd be appreciated. 
I'm looking for something for the flat, so I can get upto the ceiling, (it's around a 12' high ceiling). It's either something like that, (if they're usable in a dog-leg/cranked position too, that'd be handy), else a mini scaffold I need. I have two beams running along the ceiling which I could rest a ladder against.

Ofcourse, happy to do a review thread. Hoping they - and my Drop Hide Loose packages arrive early tomorrow, as I have a friend waiting for trees to be pruned and will be ideal for testing both.
One of the other brands sell an upgrade of a second pivot, so that the four sections can be used as two independant tressels with a board between as a platform.
The ones I bought wont do a dog leg shape but the much smaller Werner 12 way can be used like that. I used a customers set as an A frame but there far too short for my needs - actually ended up standing in an over filled green bin as a good stable platform for the second half of that job!

Try some platform ladders. I bought the Werner version of the ones in the link as ex-hire and they’ve been great. Rock solid and a proper platform to stand on so reaching a high ceiling isn’t an issue.
You can get them in various tread heights and platform heights are available online so you figure out which you need

The link shows a 1m heigh step ladder?! Might do a normal ceiling but not good for a high one?
This baby hedge I couldnt finnish from the ground as it was too wide, so had to go to borrow the parents ickle step ladder. I felt like a right tit, using it for a hedge!
This is a larger roadside hedge I did a couple months back. Ladder is set up at about 17 rungs but would have been two too low as an A frame.
With a suitable A frame like the one ordered, I'd likely have it side on, at full hieght 15 rungs, straddling with my feet on the 13th rungs

my brother has that set, they're quite heavy to hump around but they're very stable up a height
this reminds me I need to buy a long ladder for home!
sure I had two sets of big extending ladders, old ones... but can't find them anywhere, but suspicious tbh

Quite often a Fakita will say brushless and turn out not to be. Please update us, if it really is, and is any good, I could use a better one.

This Fakita looks to be a reasonable if not improved version of the DUC150.
I will check it does have a brushless motor of reasonable power and auto oiler.

I've had a Yihua 937D for a few years now. It's been excellent for the jobs I do at work. I have a T12 soldering station at home, which has more features but isn't any better in every day use.
