My solution..
Exactly what I did.
My solution..
I set up my machine for a final time and concluded that it's faulty. So no replacements where I bought it from and you have to go through CMC-Creative in Germany. The warranty is repair or replace, at their option. I certainly want a replacement, not a repair - the item is brand new so I want a new one. I can see this isn't going to work out and have a real sinking feeling. The last time I tried to claim is when I had a cordless screwdriver that failed after a couple of months. It would occasionally just go dead, but intermittently. I explained this and they (Kompernass, I recall at that time) said if they couldn't find a fault I would have to pay £15 for the return postage. It only cost £16.99.
The Parkside couplers are Rectus Type 25 (that's what I use anyway!)
Mine fitted fine. Just used a standard pcl xf
What about your consumables? does a plasmacutter have those ( i am not familiar with such a tool).
and, if yes, are they standardized? like your contact tips, nozzles et cetera on euro-torches and the likes?
Anyone noticed the built in 'relay/fan stay on' feature that's connected to the on/off switch? The instructions do say that you should leave the machine on after a period of cutting, I get that but is that in addition to the time that they have built in to that relay? I don't know how complex that system is, is it linked to a temp sensor I'm wondering for example??
Both my TIG and MIG sets do this e.g. I turn them off at the back but the fan stays on for a while. I think the manual should probably say something like "Do not disconnect from mains supply before the cooling fan has stopped - this will ensure the machine has cooled sufficiently and avoid damage".
ow thats interesting,
I ordered this set, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/30x-Air-Plasma-Cutter-Consumables-Electrode-Tip-Kit-For-Torch-PT-31-LGK-40-CUT40/312704075741?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648
The tips and electrodes are shown as 1mm different in the image with the measurements this should be interesting. hopefully just a measurement snafu
Stu
I think as long as you have a matched set, it matters not.
Bought that set for my cut50. Canny quality, can recommend for the money.

you should be able to track a replacement in another store ask instore if they can get one sent to your store as a replacement
unsure if possible but worth an ask
At the time of this posting, there are still three of the plasma cutters at my local Lidl in Treorchy South Wales; if it's any help.
