Didn't realise there were so many loading experts on here!
Might as well give my opinion:
looks ok to me. I agree an extra 4" extension would make it look a lot better but as long as it's well secured at the front so it can't move backwards then surely as long as the rear tyre is on the bed it will be fine. You see steel stock trucks carrying stuff on an angle with the back of the load hanging over the bed all the time and never panic cos if its secured enough it won't go anywhere.
I'd be more concerned about the farmers load tying abilities once he gets his shiny new tractor; one ratchet strap to hold 20 round bales on a trailer....
