Front end might be really well secured, BUT that strap over the tyres will not stop any side movement if any sudden moves are made.

The strap is below the centre of the wheel so if there is any movement it will just loosen. the tension in the strap is pulling the tractor forwards and at the same time trying to rotate the wheel anticlockwise, pulling the tractor back.
The trailer looks a bit low on the suspension too.

That's exactly who I thought of as well, when I was at LT they would have atleast one driver a week stopped by Police/Vosa for an illegal load, usually like that with it hanging off the rear of the trailer.

NO! Axle centre is off the rear of the ramp, and that strap won't stop it
also it's a car transporter type trailer so straps will be hooked in to the decking and that's only 3mm thick
so straps or chains are only as good as the weakest link the holes in the decking

Another NO from me too,PC plod would have a few words to say also
That is a fairly standard way of transporting tractors infact you can see in the picture there are additional straps around the front axle than what would be used if it was entirely onthe trailer
The front wheels are choked so its not going backwards they are some sevre chocks for it to bounce over and i would reckon there will be another strap out of sight secured to the tow hitch
Not to mention the handbrake being secured
The handbrakes on modern tractors arnt feeble either i dont think it would go anywhere
Oh and the centre line of the hub isnt over the backend as the tractor is sloped up hill not flat
So if a line is drawn from the rearmost part of the trailer at 90 degrees to the bed it will go behind the axle also the strap is not on the rearmost part of the tire so would tighten if it moved backbot slacken like stated above
Im not sayig it is perfect but i fail to see how it will go anywhere especially if a towhitch strap is used

I agree to a lot of that, but gravity pulls straight down irrelivant of the slope on the trailer, which makes the centre line with a plumb bob directly on the end of the trailer, undoubtably the front is very secure, to my mind would have been safer to let the ramps out another 4" or so, cant see any chains though.....he is unfortunate that rims are solid so cant chain there.

But the force of the ratchet straps will act at 90 degrees to the bed is what im saying as some people seem to suggest the straps will pull it off the back and they will be pulling it on

You're all arguing over a snapshot, of part of a load, in one dimension. In that frame it doesn't look particularly safe but it also looks like it's not on the highway either without a lot more evidence it is impossible to answer the op's question.

I can assure you it is, it makes no difference what angle the tractor is parked at, gravity acts downwards.
