They used quite a lot of 4 X 108 in the alloys but they also used a lot of 4 X 100 mainly in steels, they all had different offsets and centre bores and most used nuts on studs as opposed to wheel bolts.

ive searched all over the cortina, escort, capri are all 108 as was most 4 stud fords, ive never known a different pcd for them and why would alloys be different to steel ? answer they wouldnt if they were there would have never been Any upgrades to alloys

i have faffed with ford for years and never yet have i seen any 4x100 PCD so i am interested why and what cars etc

Prospect mill has been further damaged by fire and has mostly been demolished, now the owners have prime land in an affluent area without a pesky listed building on it, but maybe I'm cynical?

Not so cynical I think, seems to happen with monotonous regularity, old schools, pubs, redundant public buildings, chapels (at least in Wales), they all seem to fall victim to fires, then demolition and redevelopment.
Nobody ever seems to get caught though...............

Most cotton and paper mills around here have been ripped down and nothing done with the land for years now untill the need another bloody supermarket. Mills that could of housed hundreds of folk aswell.

Happens a lot round here too, developers buy listed buildings and a few months later they mysteriously catch fire and have to be demolished

Just for info as this mite be a bit of useless info that some body else needs to know some day.
After I got a vernier and measured the stud in the shop with it I got he bit needed which is 13mm as the sub before the knurl is 12.54mm, I got the drill bit and set off home
With all the excitement I set to drilling the hubs, ONLY TO BLOODY FIND the drill bit in the 13mm drill packet was as I use before hand and a 12mm.#
It can only happen to me again as always.
So Snoop, never trust somebody else`s measurements ( as you said ) and what it says on the tin.
I will take it back tomorrow and swap it, cant be boved now.

W,olly; If you are in Manchester, do you know Failsworth? particularly the old mills, we did the roofing on Tesco Failsworth and were told a few years before that the site would be cleared and sold to Tesco, so yes there are professionals setting fire to old buildings so they have to be demolished.
