no just std speedo, no recon tacho !! previous speedo reading on dvla seemed to confirm iirc, front suspension was completely fupard though needed full set of joints

3 litre ,original engine and box,recon axle, spent its life on the motorway towing a trailer,18 foot,at 7500 gross train. I bought it with that mileage, think head gasket is starting to go, so going to source a good head before i take it apart in case of cracking. done couple suspension rubbers,overhauled brakes, sailed through mot,no advisories.....engine sounds like a watch...brilliant. hoping to rebody this year as recovery.

I just fitted an EGR blanking plate and black box to mine a couple of days ago, I sleep better knowing it's not ingesting any of that sooty stuff - and the inlet throttle valve should last longer this time.
A bit of a fiddly job but hopefully worth it, we'll see. I'd really like to remove the whole EGR thing, cooler, valve etc, but too much work for no extra gain, the blanking plate should do fine.

Sounds good,what year is it? mines an 06,last of the mk3 shape..I really like the style of mf 4,especially about 2010 when they put those black grills on

Mine's a 2007, 3.0 Iveco engine in a X250 Ducato with 5 tonne tag-axle ALKO chassis (it's a motorhome conversion). Personally I am going to try to avoid buying anything new enough to have a DPF on it.

Well I've got it built back up, coolant seems OK now, But I've caused another problem,
It took a few spins over to get it bled up and started,but sounded good.
Then it just cut out suddenly as if electrical?
But it started straightaway on the key it did this a few times which I assume was small pockets of air in the system, then again while warming it up, I turned it off and it ran on for a few seconds and again,
so i thought I would check the earth on the injector loom wiring, cleaned that and started it up again and turned it off on the key and the edc light came on.
So now it's in limp mode but other than that it's OK, it's not turning it's self off now or running on after you turn the key off, bloody motors

Hum ?? have to get it 'read' to answer but you need an adapter cable it is a little round plug on passenger side iirc I do have one, but too far...

the dreaded flashing injector light,wallet tightens at the same time your spincter does, horrible feeling.
I had a chinese copy of the main dealer diagnostic for those vans when I had one.... gave it away to a mate when I got rid of my last sprinter it fitted... he's got rid of his now too so I'll see if he's still got it, you're welcome to it if he has :-)
