I regret not having a second stab at a Live Sound Scholarship, I got to the top three and was told to go back the next year but never did. Would have been quite a cool job off the back of that.
Very happy with my job now though so can't really complain.
I also regret selling my Ex MOD land rover 90 to my mate, who then sold it on 2 months later for a profit.

Selling my Mk1 Lotus Cortina for £300 and my Escort Mexico and my etc etc and not forgetting all the British bikes I owned over my youth including a Vincent Shadow, as always if we knew then what we know now we would have went into debt up the eyeballs and beyond to keep them.

Yeah I know and I also know where there is one stored in a garage three miles away, the owner is elderly, ill and fast becoming unaware of what is going on around him, luckily his wife is aware of it's value so she won't get robbed.

Most of the automtive regrets are due to the relative value of the items now, ironically the reason many of the cars are expensive now is because people who regretted selling them are fuelling the market.

Some of the numbers are crazy for Fast Fords, in the late eighties you could buy Escort Mk1/2 Mexico/R2000 for few hundred quid. If you had been in a position to buy every one you could find and store it you would have made more money than if you'd bought a house. The same applies to VW campers, old tractors.

Two of my mistakes were called Allison. One cost me a house the other an x75 triumph hurricane.

The rest i just put down to the life experiences that made me who i am today.

That was a narrow escape - you might have ended up being blamed for the 'collapse' of the Banks.......
