Just thought I would thank the people who posted in here.
The trip went quite well, Got off the plane and was instantly stopped by security who wanted to know where I was going, why I had two bags etc etc, Customs had a good look through my passport and wanted to know why I have been to Morocco, When I told them it was for my Honeymoon the girl asked who I traveled with and then failed to raise a grin when I paused and simply said my wife, she wanted me to list all my friends in Egypt too, which was quite easy as there isn't any..
Stopped in some half decent digs, self contained apartments which meant eating out every night with my Agent / Bodygaurd. Only had sites two sites to visit, one was to calibrate the balancing machine that balances the central core of Missiles, these guys are clueless to how balancing works so I educated them. The second job was a power plant on the coast, Security took a dislike and told us the Job had to be done in 1 day when it was booked for two. 14 hours working in turbine hall was grim, but they did treat me to a free pass in the canteen and made sure the folk in there stacked my plate high. Again though the operators didn't really know much, I was expected to balance down a 70T rotor with 60g weights, specifically made to fit at certain intervals which is useless when I need to be spot on with my weights and angle. due to this job being 1 day my agent / bodyguard took for a trip to Jerusalem, nice place. on the way back we got a call from the missile people saying I had broke one of there machines, we were 2 hours away from the job and I had a plane to catch... Got there to be met by the main man and a few armed security chaps, quickly escorted to the job, I worked my magic and balanced this job down to 0.022 microns of displacement, the best they had done was around 10.. pats on my back from all round, the main man then hands me his business card and tells me if there is any problems at the airport then ask the airport to ring the number on the card.. It only when I got back I looked and this chap is the Director of Space and Aerospace, Defense and Satellite Division...
Finally made it to the airport and my Agent didn't like the look of the line for security screening, so told me to wait outside and have a smoke, he came back and ushered me to the front of the line, the young girl didn't even want to look in my bags as they contained "very high tech specialist Engineering equipment", She quite simply asked if I was taking explosives onto the plane.. I then went straight to the front of the line for check in, then front of the odd baggage line and then the front of the line for security screening, from walking in the front door of the airport to being in duty free took about 15 minutes, a few people on the plane recognized me and wanted to know how it was done, lol.
All in all a top trip, felt very safe everywhere I went, even on my own.. Italy and Saudi are next on the list.

Ive done both didnt like either. But if i had to chose the ham piza is best, as for getting through foreign air ports, dodgey mr fixits are worth their weight in gold, hence why they survive!Italy

Love Italy - worked in Turin for about 6 weeks back in 2007, been on hols to Tuscany and worked in Vasto on the Adriatic coast for a couple of weeks last year. Discovered my love of rocket fuel espresso from there!!
