Well picked her up and gave her a quick clean, made some improvement

Plug out and WD-40, then light oil dribbled into cylinder. I also brought home this which the Seller had lying in his shed - for the princely sum of £10. New, unused and in a tatty box

According to eBay search, they fetch anything from £30/£40 [ongoing auctions for used] to £99 for new Buy-It-Now.
Don't suppose anyone has an Owner's Manual for one lying about? Or know which oil I should use when I change it. I have fully synthetic aplenty.
What is that extra item you bought? Is it a scarifier attachment for the mower?
As for lawnmower oil - most makers specify SAE 30 which is ok in hot climates but in this country we rarely get decent temperatures to warm the oil. I worked in a lawnmower dealers and we used 15/40 for everything, the reason being that 15/40 makes it easier started & the oil will be thin enough to get working straight away.

Won this on the Bay today for just over half its new retail price,been used once the seller said....just need to find time now to pick up
You've had more luck than me then, I found a pair a few miles away, one complete but tatty with another incomplete one, had a bid on them but they went for 1½ times the cost of a new one

Quick update on this, I've been doing a bit of 'cleaning up', and decided to replace the 'consumables' while it was in bits. So, replacement air filter [foam] element, spark plug [although the one in it 'looked' OK ], drive belts [showing signs of cracking] and a clutch control cable [fraying at the end, so sticky in operation sometimes].
The cutting cylinder looks in decent condition, so tomorrow I'll remove the bottom blade and run some emery paper over it, then backlap using medium, then fine, grinding paste. Hopefully that'll save me having to sharpen the thing.
Progress to date.......Ideally, I'd like to source a sticker for the fuel tank as per the auction pic, anyone got a link to a source for such things? I've done a bit of Googling but without luck so far

That looks promising, but all the price quotes for one-offs I bring up on their site are £75
I'll give them a ring 'though to see if anything can be done 
Otherwise, it'll be penfold's suggestion if nothing turns up via Google in the meantime. It's not essential that there's a sticker there, just my OCD attention to small detail(s)

- I will of course pay for it. I have the original [which I tried to 'renovate' but it didn't work - it ended even more curled up than before it was, after I tried to remove residual adhesive
] It's the one stuck on the petrol tank in the last pic above. I could post it down to you for copying purposes - PM me your details if you think that'd work.

@ukracer Will have a go at that, but I'll have to try flattening it under glass and experiment with settings etc. My 'things to remember' list is getting longer......

Considered that after ukracer's post. I have some double-sided carpet tape, that or a few strips of [thinner] d/sided sellotape stuff. Thanks for the suggestion.
