Could the pcb cause that fault then. You must have a few regs kicking about I'd of tried that first.
is there a poss there might be a filter pre solenoid that might have something flapping around, or one I have had is the pipe into the torch kinking or may have come off the fitting in the handle had that a couple of times gas still seems to come out of the right place but most is dispersed into
the handle.

Must be worth getting a spare one now Kent surely. They are cheap and in a business consumable.

Taught myself that quickly when I allowed my fitters to call and get stuff on account under £ 100 without authorization ( seemed a good idea at the time - it wasn't! )
I have only one 30 day account and pay it immediate on billing
You know BOC just lost 30 million I am told - why? They lost control of staff and pennies imo

Very very true.
But, say we had a reg fail and no spare, that's a man who is being paid a wage and can't weld. Easy a couple of hours lost for someone to go and fetch one.
Pays dividends to spend pennies on a certain amount of stock/spares to save lots of pounds.
Yeah it does but I don't pay the guy and I run one mig, it dont make sense for me though at present
I buy consumables in large quantities for that reason, tips etc but not regs.
to be fair though regulators usually last years, there are loads still in use, you only have to look some boys shop that has OAI don't run a business so Im not gonna start handing out advise to those that do but my logic would be this. Your gonna need one at some point so buy 2.
That's one less outing to the distributor and more scrolls rolled in the shop.
