couple of times now I have had an odd weld lack shielding gas. Now the gauges show its fine and par for the course I have removed the reg and cracked the valve to confirm its not a stuck gauge and I am actually running low.
Its really very intermittent though and has only ever appeared on stiches on smaller stop start welds like on spindles. Not common say one in a hundred and only of late.
Std practice I clean out the gun of any amount of spatter check a number of times all is good and I am getting gas flow at the torch and after removing the bubbly junk crack on
So thinking intermittent fault ( though is could be intermittent lazyness not clearing spatter etc) Can gas solenoids give up like this? or a Fault at the reg? anything else? Any useful tests that could pick it up?
thing is its literally about one in a hundred and I have spent upwards of 40 mins plus trying to induce this fault again after an instance without success
Before any one say it NO I don't send anything out that's not right
