Debs knows I have some books that would more than sort out my funeral
I only hope that some one needs Whitworth taps and dies lol

When I pop my clogs, it'll probably be likes a parts hunt, as they search for where I've put the remaining bits for each machine.

You can but it's my fault for explaining poorly

If you install a barcode font, like this http://www.dafont.com/3of9-barcode.font you can see there is a direct character substitution. Not all barcodes work this way but this one is a nice and simple but reliable one.

One caveat - the barcode must be encased in asterisks to be read properly by a scanner expecting code 39. It's such an old and simple codepage it is very widely supported and read with good accuracy on even cheap devices such as a mobile phone reader.
