How do I get the pin out of this pulley?

Well, I was educated

Just bought a selection of roll pins to replace them (I'm guessing the originals didn't enjoy their heating'n'beating).
But, of course, I didn't take enough measurements of the roller bearing (measured inner and outer O, but not depth) so that will be a task for tomorrow evening

Just take it to any agricultural engineers and they will find you a replacement, they do it all the time.

It's a Victa 550 Pro self-propelled, similar to this one.

I bought it two weeks ago at an industrial auction for £45 and so far have ordered about £30 of e-rings, bearings and an air-filter. The motor is strong and started immediately, after changing the spark plug.

So I'm hopeful I'm going to end up with a solid mulching mower for not too much money

Oh - and the gear box alone is over £300, hence the desire to strip and fix it!

The ones I hate are where there's a smaller roll pin inside a larger one (Renault were guilty of using this a lot on 1980s models). If you start trying to drift it out as if it was a single roll pin you just end up wedging it harder and harder. So you need to put a drift inside the larger one to drive out the smaller one, then use a larger drift in the opposite direction to drive out the larger one.

I used to think the same because most auctions seem to be based in England, but this is a Scottish auction group called Sweeney Kincaid.

Most of their auctions are around Glasgow, but they have auctions in Aberdeen and Inverness too, and currently have one running in Grantown on Spey.

Not uncommon on farm equipment, and a complete pain in the rear when it's covered in grime and in an awkward place that makes it hard to see what you're dealing with.
