Yeah......heard all that before guys. 
Old sailors use to dip their rigging in Linseed oil then hang it up long before stainless stuff came along.
I had galvy chassis in 90's and that method stood them in good stead.
Nothing to do with throw away mentality. As for stealing the Landy, I ain't lost one yet but if they want it they will have it, especially when you have it straight and painted anyway.
If I subscribed to throw away mentality I would would not have run Tax exempt Landy's for years

 oh and I don't like the colour of galvanised on green defender 
, I want a 6x6, in fact ive been planning it in my head 
   it may be a 6x4 if I can't make a rear transfer box but I want to fit a cummins engine have air assisted brakes and air suspension and if it's a 6x4 I'll put a liftable rear axle or maybe rear steer 
  They wont notice your lovely two pack finish on the outside paint work, along with all your other detail.
