I recently did an 08 transit tipper rear calliper, the disc and pads were that worn one pad had long since disappeared and the piston had worn a huge groove in the disc I think the calliper alone was around £360 plus disc and pads the guy only noticed something was wrong because a light illuminated on the dashDo you all give in lol

I think the tranny rear wheel drive isn't the best design having to remove the half shaft and the huge wheel bearing retaining nut simply to renew the rear discWe use after market rebuilt units less than half that price .

Disc rear brakes are a proper pain
Not needed on the average production car
