Thanks for your comments guys....i learnt this trade from my father many many years ago and ime one of the very few in the country who still use hot pour rolled bitumen and in some cases including drip edges and vertical flashings. In all my working life ive only ever had half a dozen comebacks and its never been connected to MY felt work but other trades messing with it to complete there jobs. I only use pollyester based felts and high tensile which iff laid right can give 30 plus years of life. Heres a few more samples,sorry to look like ime boasting here but ime very passionate about my work

all was well till i splashed some red hot tar on me arm and neck
big mistake i tried to rub it off quick and smeared it all over and made it worse , 

another 30 years and ile be catching up to you then
