Anybody else covet their dad's tools or have had them handed down?
My dad's over 80 now and he's still tinkering in his shed, he's slowing down and he's only got a couple of old motor bike renovations on the go so if I mention I'm short on something, or he can't see him using it again, the next time I'm over he'll have a box of stuff ready for me.
I mentioned I needed some adjustable reamers the other day, and low and behold, tucked in a box of all sorts of stuff were these. A bit bigger than needed, 1" to 2" but I'm sure they'll come in handy. Also a valve seat grinder these were the interesting stuff amongst a whole load of old brass tap fittings, grinders, old parafin lamps etc.
I've no idea what kind of arbor fits on the end.
He's coming over in a couple of weeks, I wonder what he'll bring with him......
Cheers
Andy
