Contactors chattering... If, as it sounds like, you have contactors between the VFD and motor, *THAT'S WHY THE VFD ONLY LASTED 90 MINUTES*. You were lucky it lasted that long...
There should be NO switchgear between them, and chattering contactors are about as bad as it can get for a VFD - every time the contacts open there'll be a massive inductive spike which is exactly what kills VFDs. Did you read the installation guide? Are the contactors powered from the VFD output or something?
Wrong both mine are plug and play, meaning it provided true 400v 3ph as the machine was intended to use.
Current one still ok after 26 months wired in to control panel, no faffing.
