Stihl highflex are fairly cool running,there are others from other brands.
You realy must wear chainsaw trousers,boots too,& a helmet with eye/ear protection.
Chainsaws dont take prisoners,they take chunks,in a split second.
I would recomend basic training,or at least hiring a trained & experienced arborist to get you up to speed,nothing compares to experience & ppe,this from an experienced climber/ cutter.
Your local woodland trust often have barrow loads of funding for "training or retraining" just tick the seeking work in sector box. That's how I did my cs30/31 for £300 all in lantra approved
