A mates mum talks to her neighbor about gardening and one day the
neighbor had popped around for tea and a chat. My mate walks in and
there's Eric Clapton sitting in the kitchen;-) Their house belonged to one of
the Moody Blues before they moved there.

Anyone remember hearing: music performed by the Jack Parnel ochestra at
the end of telly programmes, or seeing it in the credits? When I was 14 I
went out with his daughter. I used to go to her house quite often and see
people like "Uncle Bruce", nice to see ya to see ya nice[not that he
said it]! Her brother Rik was a drummer in a band, he was older than us but
we often went and hung around with him, he was in Atomic Rooster.

A girl I know had her brother staying during his summer holiday from uni. He
bought a really hot ginger haired Irish bird to stay with him. One day she
says she has to go and visit her uncle Bob the next day[been ordered by her
mother], it turns out uncle Bob's surname is Geldorf. We all told her he was a
right ******.

I once roadied for New Order when they came to Doncaster - had to do stage security too, very scary. Dragging large drunk people off of speaker stacks is definitely a hazardous job if your not built for it. Technique was to grab them by the back of their pants and disappear before they hit the floor as they usually get a bit shirty with the first person they see behind them.

Good mates with some family members of The Verve, Know Brian Cannon who photographed and did album covers for The verve and Oasis, plus many more.

Had breakfast in the VIP area at Donington with Steve harris from Iron Maiden. Didnt even know it was him until someone told me.

My Uncle went to School with David Bowie.

Not music related but my Dad was the GP for 90% of the Wigan Rugby team in the 90's, also included Heather Small from the M people as she was married to Sean Edwards at the time so go to meet her and the Wigan lads on many occasions.

Met loads of smaller bands in the Guest / Vip areas at festivals but they where mostly tossers who thought they were someone because they played the smallest stage at the festival.

Met Sham 69 at a gig last year, Met Howard Marks early this year.
