Ummm Black Pudding.......I believe 1n the original rawlplug manufacture the fibre was mixed with some sort of animal blood!!!
I remember my dad using them back in the early 70's, one of the the other things I remember he used was a Black and Decker circular saw attachment for his electric drill, that was even worse than fibre wall plugs.

I remember my grandad using a B&D circular saw attachment on his drill fairly regularly. I think everyone in the UK had one in the 70's, along with his blue B&D workmate with squeaky legs![]()

, 2 of the black clips were knackered so you had to sort of flip the legs out when you put it on the floor before lifting the top bit up.
Also by Rawlplug?same stuff as this only made by phillplug. u bought it in a big tin .wet it and forced it in to uneven holes it worked a treatAnd what about that stuff for wall fixings that you mixed a bit of water, moulded with fingers, then stuffed in the hole. I think it was asbestosAlso by Rawlplug?
http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=...&ved=0CD4Q6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=philplug&f=falsedo u have an rcd plug to go with itNow, we all know how things have moved on, tools get more complicated, sophisticated and harder to use. Some things are backward compatable though. To make good use of those beauties you need to buy this off me. Micro processor controlled, top of the range non tangle high resistance orange cable, an arm snapping 400 watts, so much power, if the drill jambs the wall will spin. Of course, all this technology does not come cheap.
i wouldnt use that if u payed me to
