Yes - I remember Gordon Brown in a budget speech saying that company formations were at an all-time high. In the next news bulletin the BBC told us that company failures were at all-time high!

An intersting exercise if you've got a few quid to spend is to select a dissolved company, find out who its directors are and then see what other companies boards they sit on.
