Ok folks so its Christmas morning. The sweets and Christmas jumper (thanks mum) have been unwrapped, nothing on TV banned from visiting workshop by her indoors and I'm board.
I use a nice blaster cabinet at work (meant for delicate stuff not chunks of rusting machinery) and I have a pressure pot at workshop but its messy to tied up after so thought wandered towards building my own! For the pricey sum of £27 from amazon (inc delivery) I have ordered a 45 gallon steel barrel with recoverable end so that the body sorted now time for the fixtures! Was thinking of a frame to hold the barrel flat with a slight fall away from the opening end. Cut two holes in front for gloves to go through and some kind of window using Perspex to look through. Light naturally with vac point for the dust and some kind of grate to site the work on and to let the grit accumulate under. I was thinking of some kind of facility so that refilling the pot is nice and easy. Any ideas? Or photos of how you have do e it before!
