For some time I have been irritated by the use of the word "amperage" instead of "current". My assumption was that it was some horrible slang expression, or a Merkin import. You can imagine how horrified I was to find it in the Oxford Dictionary, plain as day.
So, no more complaints, I will just harumph into my coffee and cast perspirations about the decline of the English language and all who sail in her.
