SAAB lists for insolvency

SAAB have basically had to file for bankruptcy as General Motors (GM) who previously owned them along with Vauxhall retained intellectual rights to various bits of technology used on the Saab's, and they have refused to allow a deal involving various Chinese companies to go ahead as being an American company they don't want their technology falling into chinese hands!!!

All boils down to political reasons really.

ah, the dual mass flywheel, my transits consume those at an amazing rate, l could have bought a new van with what l have spent on dual mass flywheels

but anyway how is the front diff configured on a serria 4x4, is it in the sump, under it or beside it ?, l need a pair of small light diffs

iv now fitted 10+ single fly wheels and they do give a bit more vibration but they dont muck about like dual mass items.

As for diffs, gearbox. They have the rear output normal and a side mounted front prop that runs along the external off side/drivers side of the box going into a front housing through the sump then to offset front diff. I have a link for it il find it in a second

speak for yourself! id rather shove wasps up my bum than drive anything other than a ford

It might say ford on the grille badge, but if all the parts are made in korea or china and then assembled in spain is it still a ford ? Triumph motorcycles in hinkley , harley davidson in america all have plants in the far east , triumph in korea and harley in china , so someone waving a flag for their countries products might get a shock when they realise they are supporting chinese manufacturing. In the case of american cars that can only be a good thing.

Remember back in the 50's and 60's when the first japanese cars and bikes began to enter europe and people laughed , they weren't laughing for long , who would buy a austin or rover over a toyota or honda today ?

and don't forget twas the chinese who invented paper-that same material that the best blueprints[& back of a fag box] are detailed on.them chinese are very clever/resourceful race of people,especially in ancient times-its there time again i'm afraid & we aint seen nothing yet.:
