Nahh distracted, oil plant today, tommorow bushes and pins on a 360 bahh, Still I have got 95% of the welds done 20ft of tig in that lot, the sweat was driping especialy leaning in doing the internals.. Im aiming to be done kinda middle of the week ish, Rs put the gasket in the post so i can get it presure tested, Il take some stage pics tommorow...
BTW that rotary table i wanted to make would have come in bloady handy.
Ok just the plumbing to do, I did a vac on it today riging my tiny litle vac pump(crudely to it) a couple of bricks on a bit of perspex and vac it down to about 20hg with no leaks..
Id really like to give it a buff to take the scratches out, but ******** if im holding it against the polisher.
Not happy with the square plate on the bottom think it makes it look kind of crude but its at the customer's request.
well heres a few pics, couldnt get any nice tig ones they all came out shiny the one of the fiting is the best of a bad bunch.
Oh and the mark by the cat's foot on the rim is a reminder to not buy cheep tool holders the shell holder for the hig flow cutter decided it would shake lose, chinese crap.
please note the cat comes at extra cost and is not avalible on the basic model
Just put one of the layout to show the start of the job.
I have an awful feeling that the cat is stuck in that position - something to do with it being a job for Ratty, and never being sure of what you're seeing....
Nice job snowy. You're right about the square plate, but most important will be the proof of Ratty using your smart bit of Allywork!
That's looking very fine Snowy. I agree the square plate doesn't look great but it will be helpful to stop it rolling if I have to tip it on it's side. You can put a little radius on the corners if it makes you feel better
I won't go for the de-luxe model (with Cat) - it might put our Gracie's nose out of joint
