£1.92.9 for diesel in one of our local fuel stations, I haven’t looked at any others
Fun fact of the day the UK doesnt source it's oil from the middle East but we get it from the US, Norway and our own supplies in the North Sea.
Technically we shouldn't be seeing shortages or massive price increases

There's the problem, priced on a global setting so no competition.
I think that's about 81p per litre? Thats cheap!! UK is about double that. Life would feel so much easier if we had your fuel prices.$4.09 a gallon for regular unleaded today.
It'll probably be a sensible thing to start parking it inside the workshop too so that I don't have to worry about thieving scrotes drilling the tank.
Are you the man to ask if things are running out….A few folk have asked me what wil happen if its gets to the point we do run out. ?
The way its going nobody can say.
I can average 25k plus in the UK per year, that's even in our little country. The US is a much bigger place, so fuel being cheaper per litre doesnt nessasarily mean they are spending less.
@Erie Fred what would you say is a normal milage over there?
Here, I'm doing 10-14k miles a year.
There is a lot that a health care system does not cover!
I've been at or around 12k a year on the van since I got it new in 2014, plus another 12 to 18k a year on whichever couple of bikes are on the road at the time. It just doesn't make sense trundling around in a van carrying just me and my lunchbox no matter what price fuel is.I can average 25k plus in the UK per year, that's even in our little country.
I'd love a bike but I need to take stuff with me when I travel. I have a pretty economical (car wise) BMW I use for all these long trips now.I've been at or around 12k a year on the van since I got it new in 2014, plus another 12 to 18k a year on whichever couple of bikes are on the road at the time. Which will lead to more congestion, more traffic jams, more damage to the roads and environment and more people bemoaning the state of our roads. My view with fuel is that if its cheaper people will do more, travel more and being out more, they will spend more leading to greater tax revenues elsewhere.
Does seem like the price increases have reduced traffic quite a bit! I drove the A1 north from London and this weekend I was expecting it to be bad...was pretty clear.Which will lead to more congestion
