Why has everyone gone quiet when I ask a simple question?
Repeat:- Do you believe NASA will go to the moon before 2030?
If not why does the space community not put pressure on NASA to prove once & for all moon landings are possible, after all they currently have an
annual budget of $24.44 billion, I think the US citizens have right to demand that after all these years.

Moon landings possible? So far 5 countries have put lunar rovers on the surface - are they all faking it as well?
Remember back in the 1960s and 1970s the elf and safety brigade were much less OTT

My point is according to NASA's published intentions, 2028 is the target date for returning to the moon, if they don't, are you happy
for them to continually push the date further away for what ever reason they choose to tell you?

They M3 was supposed to be finished in the 70's, yet finally fully opened in 1995.

I'd guess that getting to the moon is a bit harder than laying tarmac, so if NASA miss their 2028 target by a few years I dont think its going to be the end of the world (or moon).

Oh, and whilst I'd like to see a return to the moon, I'm not that bothered if they don't. But if they do go, I hope they're going to tidy up and bring back all the golf balls and other junk they left there last time.

Many large scale projects keep getting pushed back - nuclear power station - even railway lines. That is what happens in a World that is now ruled by red tape

its not that with cost its materials and price for them

not forgetting the greed of each party involved in every part of systems between them that are certainly over charged compared to the normal person doing the exact same job

the whole system is based on greed after the workers who actually do the job
