Nothing,just doesn’t look bunded.What's wrong with it?
I'd say it is looking at the hardware on the top at the rear of the tankNothing, just doesn’t look bunded.
Thats a fair point, oil prices are traded months in advance and are driven be fear of supply issues, so ships not going through the Strats of Hormuz, restrict supply to anywhere outside the gulf, even though the oil loaded in to a tanker in say Daz island, or Basra will be 6 to 8 weeks to get refined. Those cargos once loaded will be traded multiple times on their “Bill of Lading” while the crude is enroute to a refinery. So your refined product prices jump instantly as the refining businesses know they are going to have to pay more for their feedstock. Ships stacking up waiting to load then takes time to clear once the issues are removed, as there are only a finite number of loading terminals.I had a panic on Saturday but we still have 1300 litres left. So should be OK for a few more months if it stays warm.
I can never fathom why they shoot up immediately and take forever to come down. The oil in the UK now isn't affected by world issues. It's already been bought! The stuff on its way should be more expensive!
Me as well.I filled up with diesel yesterday![]()
The fuel being sold today has to buy the fuel tomorrow (or next week, etc).I can never fathom why they shoot up immediately and take forever to come down.
No, but when world oil prices drop someone profiteers from that because you can guarantee that reduction doesn't happen until oil bought at those reduced prices is actually in the country. The fuel being sold today has to buy the fuel tomorrow (or next week, etc).
You wouldn't sell a loaf at a loss, would you?
