Very. Not a design i've ever seen before, and not sure what it offers over a "conventional" cylinder head design/casting other than being awkward to work on.
Merc A class - Renault Captur...?
As a non machining engineer , I can appreciate the skill that was needed to make that with precision.Finished the other half of the inlet manifold for the harben pump, once I finally got the larger bore tube for the inlet.
I've got to say, I'm very happy with this, it took minimal time to design and make, and it directly saves me £400+ on buying the OEM parts.

it's only accurate to 1mm.Next door had one like that plus an extra 8 feet in height , it encroached our garden by 10 feet or more for over 60 feet . Eventually when faced with the prospect of it causing damage to our bungalow
& having to pick up the tab if it did she had it pruned ....

Dried with the hot air gun after washing out the rusty sludge once the bearings were removed, so rusted and seized (completely worn down the spacer) I couldn't get them out even with an m10 rod tightened down enough to start stretching it so removing inner race and cutting required!

Then made a temporary stub extension on the pulley shaft in order to hold it whilst turning a new end piece, could have bought it for £8 but had the spare cutting deck shaft so using it as already the right size.

Having not done many shrink fit operations before (maybe 1-2 attempts so made it closer to a sliding fit to not get stuck halfway and scrap the part) and getting used to the raglan I turned up the end and spare shaft so it's shrunk on but can be turned if you put your back into the mole grips so I'll tig it up tomorrow. Was expecting it to need welding anyway to make the worn away lip that stops the bearing sliding down to the pulley so was mostly focused on it being parallel as no excess to turn off being shaft is already the bearing inner diameter.
