Ah - I don't have anything as important as banking on my phone.I don't know what the apple offering is but as you've found, samsung smart switch is really good. The only bits it missed were odd settings like configuring the home screen buttons to look like a huawei (I has a P20 before) and a couple of apps like microsoft swift key, but small beans for the amount of work it did do.
Transferring banking apps is still a pain in the posterior, but all our family are on used S20s now. ~£125 a go, the last S line phone with SD card storage and there are still plenty of unmolested ones kicking about.
I'm surprised the bearings are metric for an 99% imperial parts machine but thankfully you can just get six 6205 bearings for £15 so I will replace the ones in the cutting Deck as even though they seem to be good would make sense just doing it whilst I have it off the sharpening the blades and the two spare will go in the grass collector since they all use the 6205.I used to work servicing lawnmowers, etc and hated seeing one of those come in because it was guaranteed that the bearings in the grass collector would be seized.
The corrosion you see is typical so bearing replacement always involved cutting and welding.
The design is unique but appalling, they are the only maker to use this style of collector. But all the owners love them because they give the lawn a brushed look with no wheel marks.
The fact she is gorgeous helps too
Taken though, goddammit.
Some offer a library service thoughI suspect the bearing problem is due to the owners using a high power washer to clean the machines and wrecking the bearings over time because of the high pressure water .I'm surprised the bearings are metric for an 99% imperial parts machine but thankfully you can just get six 6205 bearings for £15 so I will replace the ones in the cutting Deck as even though they seem to be good would make sense just doing it whilst I have it off the sharpening the blades and the two spare will go in the grass collector since they all use the 6205.
The pulley side has seized which is why it's worn down the shaft so I'm just going to make a replacement stub which is a copy of the non-pully side that I will press fit onto the pulley side once I turn it down, a bit like putting a socket on an extension bar and I can use the scrap mower cutting deck shaft as 25mm bar stock to make the replacement bit!
*edit
Well you are right about them corroding in place took a few hits to get it moving however it gave instantly once pass the rusted section so the following hit was basically just the the hammer hitting my fingers into the sheet metal that makes the housing thus scraping the skin off my fingers through the gloves and probably giving me a nice and painful bone bruise later...

forgot to add the finished product picture...it rode away today with no issues, with pumped up tyres, adjusted brakes, all working electrics and a brand new genuine honda uk spec carburettor, rather than the very messed with brazil spec carb with a seized power valve and half the linkage missing so rebuilding it was impossible.
total cost to her was £60 for the nos carb, bought from ebay from a honda specialist retiring.
she's ecstatic, i have beer. all is good with the world![]()

Were they supposed to be fully enclosed sealed bearings
And you didn't sneak a picture of the lovely happy client at the handover .forgot to add the finished product picture...

The great feeling of knowing you've truly helped someone is good enough for payment in those kind of situations!
I started fixing the carnage of the previous "repair" on the westwood powered grass collector, last person to work on it just welded it up and called it a day so unfortunately had to cut out the brush stock and that'll need replacing which is normally £40-60 it seems however it's just a 1" box section with some holes which I can get and drill for ~£10.
The shaft unfortunately is a bit ******** from the seized bearing even though I managed to remove the brush stock without heavily damaging it so I'll remake the end and turn down the existing to weld it in place.

What it should look like.

Yea it's 1" but seems to be ~2.3mm wall which I don't think matches any sheet metal gauge so I'll have to recheck it. I think I can get away with 25mm 2mm wall as the shaft is ~20.8m. So I can just squeeze the box sides to fill the rattle and paint the box to make the brush holders not rattle. The box section that all the flails fit on is either 1" box or 25mm box in case you ever need to redo it. I can't remember which but it threw me when I renewed mine...
