From Prusa to Bambu

My two spare plates (ordered on 6th January) arrived this morning.

It spent until 12 Jan ambling around the Czech Republic at which point the RM tracking number was allocated (I'm assuming) for the UK leg.

Oh I have a uk tracking nunber just no movement since then.

They won't deliver if there's nothing to deliver

But there is. It gets delivered all at the same time.

Big shout out to @Dr.Al , satin OSEQ sheets arrived yesterday and the adhesion with ASA is perfect - sticks like sh*t when printing at 110°C but just falls off when cool. With the Prusa textured sheet I needed glue stick to provide adequate adhesion which is messier than I'd like.

Hopefully the PETG, PLAand FLEX adhesion will be good making it an excellent all-rounder.

I ordered mine the same day @Dr.Al gave us the heads up. I think that makes it two weeks today. Still hope for me then.

My H2S arrived yesterday got to finish setting it up later and try a few test prints , ordered the smooth plate with it as was dicounted



Cup was to show my mate the size , his Ender 3 would probably fit on the build plate

First proper job is to print the 'poop' shoot apparently PLA no good as the hot 'poop' sticks to it so I will try ABS will i need a glue stick ?

what type of plate did you select in Orca @daedalusminos have you tried various settings @Dr.Al

I'm using PrusaSlicer with a Prusa MK3s - on Prusaslicer the plate selection just loads the 1st layer calibration offset data. With the OSEQ plate I measured it with calipers and determined it was close enough to my textured Prusa plate thickness to use that same preset.

I just use the textured plate settings. The (H2D) Oseq plate has a 2D barcode on it that matches the one on the textured plate. If you try any other plate type the printer complains that it's got the wrong plate installed. The textured plate settings work fine.

Interesting. I just tried it on my X1C and it told me the wrong plate was installed. But it allowed me to continue after overriding it. Printed ok. released well not quite as easy as bambus textured Pei plate. But that might be of benefit at times. Its also just one model. But so far very impressed. I will see if I can get orca sliccers devs to include it.
