The SLS flyby will be interesting...wonder if they'll plan the route so they can photo the 1969 landing site.

I think the Chinese have photographed one of the landing sites, or so my geriatric memory tells me.
Checked, the Indians and Koreans have also photographed them.

That sat out in the open for years, as did the one at Kennedy, but they began to rot and they finally took them in doors. In Huntsville, they have a real one on its side, and concrete replica standing vertically.

A tunnel the diameter of a Saturn 5 could take 3 double decker buses side by side.

In 1997 I visited Cape Canaverel in Florida.
It was a scorching hot day so most folk were indoors in the cool ac. Not me, I was looking at the rockets outside, particularly the Saturn 5.

Absolutely amazed at the size of it. I remember being tired after walking round it. I think it was displayed in it's separate sections and you could get right up close to it with no security in sight.

Got well sunburnt that day but it was worth it. Didn't have a camera which was a big regret but I hope to go back some day.
