Thats been a lovely house in its day, proper character house.

I looked at a place last November just up the road from here, forsale by the local estate. Big stone farm house, an L of stone buildings in 1/2 decent nick and 100 acres, 40 grade 3 the rest absolute rubbish hill. It was also 895k.

I arranged the viewing, with the agent, but the owner and his Mrs turned up to show us round, as I know her I got to have a really good poke about. Liked it, Mrs liked it. But it needed lots and lots of work and asbestos removal, Mrs said no more caravans, so lost out to a cash Ill have it now buyer!

Its all about….you live where you live out of choice. I paid 3 bed semi money for this place with outbuildings, acres and fishing, before I rebuilt it.

Well put it this way, it took 9 trips here with an 18t tonner, 3 car transporter loads, first purchase was a 2.5t forklift and none of that was for furniture
