45 ish, likes Fosters I think out of choice. I've another who's 50+, heavily into "gaming". Even wears racing overalls, boots and gloves in his simulator...in his lounge. Takes all sorts

My lass gave me two very heavy books she thought I'd like .. Having had an inverted replacement left shoulder barely 10 weeks ago means I can't sit and read as the books are way too heavy to hold and sitting supported at the dining table is also problematic after a couple of minutes . . Even trying to use my Kindle hurts too much.Still it's the though that counts . I gave her a leather disabled badge holder ..something she has asked for several times since getting wacked with a high level of MS . Another thing was a nice ring light webcam for her pod cast sessions etc. , She's really chuffed with it too ...... which helps .

You can buy specific testers that will charge/discharge etc and check capacity...I have one...somewhere...in the loft

I seemed to have amassed a large amount of cakes and biscuit's, tunnocks, m+s chocky ones, walkers shortbread and a few butteries over the last few weeks. Tool wise a new Milwaukee tyre pumper upper, and set of impact torques from us pro being metric, probably won't fit anything on the pop, which hasn't been seen for 6 weeks after doing my back in

Wife did well this year, got a day course with Joby Carter, looking at some traditional fairground art skills.
Makes up for the hideous brown plastic flake leather washbag from my Dad, full of skincare thats guaranteed to bring me out in a red itchy mess for weeks. One of my grumps about Christmas tbh, I'd sooner I had nothing and they spent £20 on something they need.

I agree with you, but thankfully for us we have a standing agreement with the whole family: Christmas presents only for kids and no-one else. Ever since we came to that arrangement I enjoy Christmas so much more - it's just a time when we all meet up and eat and drink, without any of the pressure that there was before.
