Acme threaded parsnips and 1/4 inch partially parted small swede. It might be a bit difficult putting a thread on peas & tomatoes though .Vegetable broth . Doing a bit cooking video with a machining twist .

Cut a thread lefthanded and righthanded on a morse taper using an eight start thread counter for both threads ..it will look knurled if you use a smallish threadDon't be silly you can not knurl a carrot . Now a parsnip that is different .

We did the same when I was learning fine furniture making and renovations . Most times a piece would be fully made in a reasonable carcassing pine & ply wood & also with recycled veneers steamed off old furniture .Any important screw cutting like bronze

I think the beauty of turret mills is really in the relative speed and ease that you can make setups to use the flexibility it has.Although not a heavy duty machine cant deny the design is ridiculously flexible in how you can set it up









Only 2....Needed a T-slot adapter for my big rotating Vice on the bridgeport , already had slots in the base but they were 25mm and needed to be 16mm luckily had some 25mm accurate bar so just needed to mill to size
