They're a good unit at 90-ish hp out of the box with 100 achievable without spending a fortune. Unfortunately many have suffered from a lack of maintenance as they were very cheap bikes to buy not so long back so they got abused, neglected, and used as hacks/second bikes.A lot of those engines end up in the FZR400 3TJ bikes.
the L plates, never seen them on front doors before unless they were advertising the Impact School.

No I don't think so. Well, that's the story I'll be telling anyway.WIll you have time for a Christmas break?![]()
It is, just stripping the bottom end now and then I can start pricing it up.Just apply a bit of localised heat to the other side so they match
Guessing that's the bottom end of the Raptor?

Is it worth more in parts of they walk away?It is, just stripping the bottom end now and then I can start pricing it up.
A full gasket set and seals are over £200:00 so it's going to be an expensive rebuild, but that's what you get when you abuse machinery, treat maintenance as an optional extra, keep starting it to see if it's repaired itself and then to cap it off tell the workshop you eventually take it to "It just cut out. No, there weren't any noises."![]()

They go for six to seven grand in working condition, so it's worth rebuilding. You'd think they were worth looking after too.Is it worth more in parts of they walk away?

It's a heated SafetyKleen wash on contract, they swap the fluid every month or so, works pretty well when it's hot to be fair. I needed to make sure all the I's were dotted and T's crossed when I moved into the new workshop, as much for peace of mind as anything. Council, insurance, environmental health etc, any of them can walk in the door and I can hit them with the certs for whatever.Your parts washer looks a bit snazzy, that a special safety Kleen parts washer, or just add your own stickers? I thought they did small or large replaceable drums.
They did a large stainless hot wash with engine turning.
