I got C for O grade and higher English, I did French as needed a language O grade to get into Uni then ended up doing technical college and work before going back for a degree.

I got C's for both English and English Lit at O-Grade.

I ended up with 2 quals in English language, we were a test year for the planned GCSE exams, so sat that after doing the O level version and got an O level and a GCSE pass.

Now that rings a bell with me... might I ask how old you are? Wonder if we're the same age...

yeah...just not the school ones but i belive the topic was originally something along the lines of 'hello'...we can get further from that as much as we want...just not back anywhere near it now, in too deep see

I sat them in 1976

I sat eight o-levels
B in maths, physics, french, applied science and technology, and engineering drawing. ( The only subject I did the homework at home, the rest got done on the bus or not at all)

D in English language

Unclassified in English literature and history.

Sat them in 1975.

Nobody has ever asked me about what results I got, so it wasn't really worth the bother taking them
